Event Submission Guidelines
You acknowledge and agree that AfroLinked shall have no obligation to post, display, or otherwise make publicly available any photo, text, or content or other information submitted by you
Submission Rights: By submitting any photo, text, or other content or information to this website, you hereby represent and warrant that the submitted photo, text, or other content or information does not infringe on any copyright or trademark, any rights of privacy or publicity of any person, or any other right of any third party
Warranty: You hereby represent and warrant that you have the right to transfer the photo, text or other content or information free and clear of any claims or encumbrances. Photos submitted become the property of AfroLinked and, AfroLinked has no obligation to preserve, return, or otherwise make available to you or other people any photos or information so submitted.
Editing Rights: AfroLinked reserves the right to edit submissions for grammar, style and accuracy. We may also choose to omit any listing or profile, in whole or in part, at our discretion for any reason. Location: All events may take place at a physical location or online
Lead Time: We request that events be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event’s start date. If we receive the event info less than two weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee that the event will be posted.
Event Images: In order to approve and publish an event, we request to provide a professional-quality promotional image to display with the listing. Images must be in .JPG or .PNG format ONLY and no larger than 1 megabyte with a required minimum of 400 x 400 pixels (approximate size of 4 x 4 inches) to display. Images should have simple file names that do not include special characters. Depending on the size of your image and connection speed to the internet, the upload process may take up to several minutes – please be patient. Once received, your image will be formatted for display.
Unacceptable Submissions: Events that will not be accepted for publication include those:
-Taking place outside the continental US
-Adult oriented entertainment or salacious events
-Displaying a foreign language other than English
-Promoting adverse language on government policies, political/religious statements
-In nature discriminatory, obscene, inflammatory, harassing, threatening, profane, etc.

This community website was developed collaboratively by local members to share and find local information, events, resources, announcements.
We encourage all users (nonprofit organizations, businesses, places of worship, and groups to share what they do and what they have to offer by registering here. We will assist with posting their information to best of our ability.
If we determine that any content is in breach of our guidelines, we may remove it, hide it from public view, or impose other restrictions. This is an evolving document: We reserve the right to update these Content Guidelines at our discretion and without notice.
